Thistlerock Mead Company proudly partners with Rivian to support our net-zero operations. Our fully electric R1T (aka the R1Bee), powered by the sun and engineered by Rivian, transports honey and fermentation ingredients from local farms, hauls our mobile tasting bar, takes us on adventures in the Blue Ridge mountains, and can use its frunk as a mobile mead cooler. In the future, we hope to expand our collaboration with Rivian, bringing honey from the Masai Mara to central Virginia and into your glass, using Rivian vehicles for the entirety of the land routes.
