A full-time beekeeper, Allison is the queen bee to the 70 hives that power Thistlerock Mead Company using all-natural beekeeping practices free of chemical treatments and with minimal supplementary sugar feedings. Allison’s vast agricultural knowledge comes from formal education in soil and crop science, as well as from farmwork in Hawaii, on an organic dairy farm, in conventional grain, and resource management. When not taking stings for the team or hauling hundreds of pounds of honey, she enjoys time on her farm with her partner, Erin, and their son, with beautiful horses, and road tripping to the Rocky Mountains.
